While the average age people are getting married is 29 here in Australia, interestingly since 2015 there has been a 48% increase in people tying the knot who are over 65 years young! This number, according to the data analysed by The Registry is outperforming the increase in overall number of marriages.
Also, there has been a 17% increase in people marrying aged 80 and over.
